Last night, from 6pm to 8pm, was the Christofori End-Of-Year concert. About twenty students and my piano teacher, Ms Lin Li, performed at the Christofori(Funan) Event Hall. I was feeling very nervous and there were butterflies in my stomach. I was the last student to perform. (Even more nervous)

When I walked up the stage, my palms were sweating profusely. I started on my first song which was the 2nd movement from Sonata in C by Mozart. Halfway through the song, I slipped on a note and forgot the whole thing. Praying that no one would notice, I started all over again. (*phew*)

The second time I played, everything went quite smoothly and I got a generous round of applause at the end. Then, I started on my last song which was Waltz in A Flat by Brahms. This was a more difficult song than the first song, so I was more nervous. I tried to imagine that no one was looking at me. Towards the end of the song, I slipped on the pedal but managed to continue and end the song like it was supposed to be. (*phew*)

I was given a louder applause than the first time, so I was quite happy that my efforts did not go down the drain. My teacher and family praised me for the good job and commented that it was better than my performance on the 19th of November. (Really?)

I was glad to hear from my uncle that the audience was also enjoying my performance and swaying to the rhythm. Well, at least I get some exposure in perform in front of strangers.

Ok, my new class is 1K. Luckily, I'm not the only former 6/1 student in 1K. Yvon is also in my class, it's just two of us, although I wished that there were more former 6/1 students. Well, at least it is better than none. There were many more girls than boys in 1K, which has 25 students in it. (36 pupils in 1A to 1J)

On the first three days of school, we do not have to bring along our schoolbooks as it is the Year 1 Orientation. (Yay!!!) We also have to choose at least one main CCA, but we have to fill in 5 choices in order of preference. I've already made my 5 choices.

On the second week of school, we have to go for auditions and selection rounds to get our CCAs, although it is not guaranteed that we will get our 1st choice. I'm really looking forward my first day of school in Dunman High. (Wonder how different it will be)

We just got our secondary posting results today. For me and some others, we already knew our posted school through the DSA exercise. (No more anxiety!) I am quite happy at the fact that a lot of my classmates are going to Dunman High School, together with me. (Hooray!!!) Some of my classmates are thinking of asking a transfer from their posted school to another school, I wish them all the best in appealing. (Hope more of them will come to DHS!)

Tomorrow, I have to bring along the posting letter, the PSLE result slip, together with a photocopy, and 4 passport size photos of myself. We have to be at the new school by 8.30am, and we have to register and buy our uniforms and textbooks from 10.05am to 1pm.

There will also be some presentations by the teachers about the programmes the school offers. I really can't wait to find out my new classmates, I hope that some 6/1 classmates will also be in the same class as me next year. (Pretty please?)

Ok, I've got to perform again next Saturday, which is the 23rd of December. The performance will be held at The Funan IT Mall Event Hall. This time, I will be playing two songs, The 2nd movement of Sonata in C by Mozart and Waltz in A Flat by Brahms. It will be a grander concert, so I really have to do my very best. (Must!!!)

This concert is organised by my piano teacher, Ms Lin Li, so all her other students will also be performing two songs. The purpose of this concert is to let us have more exposure to performing in front of strangers. Ms Lin will not be teaching us next year because she has to continue her studies, so another teacher will take over. (I'll miss her...)

I really can't wait for tomorrow! Tomorrow, the P6 pupils in the student care centre are going to have steamboat (yum!) with some former students, together with some teachers. It's been years since I last saw them, so I bet they have changed a lot!

The thing I would wish not to hear is,"Hey, are you in Primary 4?" (*yawns*) A lot of people whom I have come across the first time think that I'm only ten. For now, I don't see what's so good about looking younger than I am, but maybe in the future, I'll understand why adults like using so many cosmetics. (I don't think it will be of much use)

I went to Vivocity today. Wow, it really was humungous! There were so many shops just on one level, considering that there were three levels of shopping. (It was like a maze!) I bought some christmas presents for my friends and family members.

Some people told me that the things there were quite expensive, but I found out that some things were inexpensive and worth buying. (I said SOME...) I really didn't regret going there. For anyone who has not gone to Vivocity before, I suggest that they go there one day. You will shop till you drop.

Hooray! I'm going to Vivocity next Wednesday! It is the first time that I'll be going there. I heard from my friends that Vivocity is humungous and is more than Century Square and Tampines Mall put together! (That big?) And there is even a swimming pool over there! (Really?) I really can't wait to do my christmas shopping over there.

I shall buy some mini voodoo doll keychains as christmas presents for my friends from the student care centre. I shall also buy some christmas presents for my family members. I'm really so excited! (Hope I'll get a good deal)

I just came back from my trip to Koh Samui, Thailand, yesterday. I really enjoyed myself over there, although the beach wasn't very clean. The highlights of the trip were when we travelled in a jeep to explore the island and when we finally came into contact with a natural waterfall, and even swam in it. I had never swam in a natural waterfall before, so it was my first time. (It was so cooling, but I lost my goggles!)

I found out that dogs are really welcome by the Thai people. Even stray dogs are allowed in the supermarkets! At least they are not animal-abusers, which are the kind of people I detest. (Yeah!!!) Animals are also living things, and we have no right to condescend them. (That's right!!!)
