Sec 1s are coming in tomorrow!!!!!
Was IM-ing with Xinyi and Cassandra from 1H just now.
They are in Guides!!!!!
So far I think there's 4 of them from 1H.
Ruo Ting, Valerie, Xinyi and Cassandra.
Wheeeeee.....I hope they will like it and NOTNOTNOT quit!!!!!
There's gonna be a mini party to welcome the sec 1s!!!!!
I can't wait to see them!!!!
There's 12.5% chance that one of the 1H girls will join p6.....
I can't wait man!!!!! haha =D
But of course I won't be bias lah.
In class today after 3rd lang after we did some project.....
Weixin and I were drawing on the whiteboard while waiting for Zi Ying, but she didn't turn up in the end after Malay. =X
Marcus was playing with his Rubic's Cube and En Zhi was playing on his hp while Tabitha was just cross stitching.
Before we came, Marcus had drawn a "2 Kezo - The Coolest Class" on the whiteboard. So nice... I took a pic of it in my hp =D
Weixin was like vandalising the whiteboard about "Marcus and Looi Han"
Looi Han is 1H's Chairperson haha.
Then I was scribbling, "I love skulls, I love Cherisse, I love skulls, I love Cherisse....."
Then I wrote the script of "The Wedding Procession" Part 1 on the board starring Tabitha and En Zhi.
lol it's really crappy. but it was erased.
And I wrote the wedding invitation too. lol
A matured bunch of kiddos. =D

The black one with hotpink skulls were bought yesterday from MiniToons.

Guides was so fun yesterday!!!!!
first it was the good ole roll call.
Then it was coursework-goal setting.
We had to write down 3 goals for ourselves in the present tense.
example:
1) I am able to run 6 rounds around the field without stopping in 14.5 mins and I got an A for NAPFA.
2) I am more polite in greeting people and I know it makes me feel happy too.
3) I take initiative in all I do and my friends and juniors look up to me.
Yeah everyone has to write something like that and read it out to the class. Then we have to write about how we will achieve our goals. Example:
1) Train every Mon and Sat to run for 14.5 mins without stopping and increasing speed when I think I'm ready.
2) Smile and wave whenever I see someone I know (even if they think I'm crazy to do that lol)
3) Contribute more to class discussions.
Then it was Skills Training with our dear PL and PS, Jia Wen and Jia Jia =D
Then after that was the photo hunt!!!!

It's something like PT minus all the pumpings, sit-ups etc but just running from place to place to find the name of our patrol. And cheering loudly no matter how tired we are.
The sec 3s were so nice can?
They were like cheering for us sec 2s,
INDIVIDUALLY by our names.
So we pushed ourselves to pia for P6 no matter how exhausted we were.
And guess what, P6 won the photo hunt even though we didn't kup any sec 4s. =D
Then some games. First there was a super dog and bone.
Then the best part was the next game. There were gummy worms hidden in a plate of flour. We had to answer questions and run and get a worm with our mouths if we knew the answer. somehow I bit 2 worms cos they were so close to each other.
And after answering the question i ate them up.
Our faces were like so smooth after the flour incident haha =D
And here's an sms from Kimberley after the activity ended:
Hey. Great job for today! :D KEEP UP THE IXORA SPIRIT! You were constantly cheering! Keep up the great work and continue to pia. Lucky you didnt fall sick today! :D
This makes me feel so special...ahh....
I'm gonna learn from my seniors and treat my sec1s like how nice they have treated me...
OMG....So fast....Passing Down is like in a few months time...I don't want the Sec 4s to leave, and I still miss the previous batch of sec 4s....
Stop emoing girl!I hope no sec 3 from our patrol will have to go to another patrol....
I said stop emoing!!and if Kimberley, Zhen Ling or Pearlyn becomes CL or ACL my heart is gonna break cos it means they can't spend so much time with us but still I wish them all the best if their goal is to become CL or ACL....

Bring Me To Life by Evanescence and the Phantom Of The Opera.
to add to my collection of A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton, I'm With You by Avril Lavigne and My Immortal by Evanescence.
Out of the 5, I think I'm With You is the easiest while The Phantom Of The Opera is obviously the most difficult to sight read with all the chords.
But it's fun to do so haha.
Sec 1s coming in next week....

I was having a phone conversation with Sally. Here's part of it.
Sally: There's also a photo hunt.
Me: OMG it sounds fun! Got PT?
Sally: They never write leh.
Me: Maybe it's PT combined with the photo hunt and we have to run around the school to search for the photos. Isn't that so cool???
Sally: OMG stop scaring me.

This sms which I think is very inspirational was sent to all p6 sec2s, from Zhen Ling, a sec3 senior.
"Hello cherisse! Are u feeling better? :-) so it's yr 2008 now and as jia wen said yesterday, are u ready to be a yr 2 senior to the new batch of yr 1 guides? When the sec 1s come in, let them understand wad the guiding family is. Let them know that guides is not only a CCA whereby girls sit ard and sing. Guides is abt respecting ur seniors, giving 200% during all activities and in guides, 不是跑就是飞. Of course, set a good example for ur juniors. Brush up on ur skills, go through ur notes when u are free and u can approach us if u hv any queries cos u guys will be one leading the nxt ATC. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Great u have u as my junior! :-):-)"

Anyways, I've kopped some tips for training for the NAPFA Test from Yin Zheng's Maris Stella High Handbook:
Sit-ups1) Trunk curl:
-raise head and shoulders
-hold for 5 counts
-repeat 6 more times
2) Sit-ups with straight arms
3) Crossed arms sit-ups
4) Reverse sit-ups:
-lie with bent knees
-bring knees to chest
5) Crunches
Standing Broad Jump1) Jump for height
2) Jump on and off
3) Jump over balls
4) 马站
Sit and Reach1) Caterpillar walk:
-bring hip to high up
2) Head to knee
3) Dance(flexibility)
Inclined Pull-ups1) Rope pull
2) Inclined pull-ups
3) Inclined hang:
-use overhand grip
-hang as long as possible
4) Climbing
Shuttle Run1) Zig zag run
2) Agility sprint:
-sprint to touch lines of different distances
3) One at a time:
-Move 4 objects, one at a time, from one place to another
4) Side to side reach:
-turn and reach for line as quickly as possible
-do 12 times continuously
5) Agility run:
-Can only be explained with the drawing. lol
2.4 KM1) Step up:
-do step ups for 2 mins
2) skipping:
-skip for 2 mins, short rest, 3 times
-skip for 3 mins, short rest, 2 times
-skip for 6 mins continuously
3) climb stairs
4) jogging:
- jog for 5 mins continuously
-increase by 30 secs when you feel like it (per week etc)
5) jog-walk:
-jog 50m and walk 50m
-do it for 5 mins

There was guides today =D
It started out with roll call.
Then skills training.
That was what the proposals were for.
For us to build a kitchen dresser with reference to the proposals.
But somehow I think we screwed it all. The sec4s gave us 40 mins to tie the whole kitchen dresser, and we took like 40 mins just to tie the 2 tripod stands with dingjiao and the diagonal lash, which wasn't even half of the whole kitchen dresser.
So we were pumped.
Sorry to Cheng Yee, Sally, Yi Ting and Crystabelle for being so jing3 zhang1 and paranoid and Oh-My-Goshing like don't know how many times.
Then after that was patrol corner.
P2, P5 and P6 combined.
We had a changing parade. Change from PE to guides uniform back to PE. In the process my scarf was like lost so I changed back to PE while the rest except Kristin were in Guides uniform.
Then the sec4s talked to us about the standard of guides dropping and how much they wanted to bring the standard back. And also about the differences of ATC 07 and ATC 06. Big difference, some of which were mentioned in some post last year.
After that was PT.
We ran 4 rounds first, then did 40 sit-ups, then 25 pumpings, then 10 burpies, then ran 2 more rounds.
Then I was like feeling breathless at the 2 rounds part, like there was something in my windpipe, so I fell out. I was like breathing very quickly so the sec4s ask me to sit down.
But yeah, I'm okay now =D
Thank you to all guides for your concern, help and the nice get-well smses that nearly reduced me to tears. seriously[:

Happy belated/early birthday to the January babies!!! aka Caris, Hui Wen, Zong Long and Jacob.
stupid com refused to work just now.

staying back in school to do the Thinking Day banner tomorrow....with my dear dear seniors and 同届的Nicholette and Yi Ting!!!! <3333333>.<
We went to ArtFriend to buy the art materials and spent like years there just choosing the colours. haha
I'm sooo excited about how the banner would look like =D
and i'm proud of myself for improving in the way I shou1 sheng2 xDD
I was spending hours fussing around and being a pain-in-the-toot-kind-of perfectionist, doing it till I was satisfied.
And i was in the end xDDD

YAYYAYYAY!!!!! I feel so high today!!!!
UG Orientation was like a success!!!
My "1H devotees" were like as nice as before when I ushered them to the booths. lol
I was like abit crazy cos I was saying the same old, "Join Guides and you'll meet nice seniors like us!!!" to all the sec1s that came.
Then I was also like telling the sec1s, "when we go 4 canoeing, we'll become very tanned and we'll look damn hot you know?"
And Sally was like +_+" at me. haha =D
I'm really sorry to the any of the sec2 guides (especially Eileen and Sally) if I scared you during clearing up with a bit of "fierce"ness. Don't worry, I don't have PMS lar.
It was cos I was a little nervous about the seating arrangement in class when Jam told me it was by drawing lots and you know how unlucky I am!!!!! So I was sort of in a little bad mood. Just a little.
But Thank God!!!!!
