Spent my bday morning at songleaderrrrrs' :D
Spent my bday afternoon eating a free cup of ice cream at Holland Village Swensens' with Zinc! :D
We got that coupon a few weeks ago cos some people were giving it out at the buona vista mrt.
And after that we went Bugis to window shop.
And I got a 77th Street membership card(:
And we ate takopachi! :D
And guess what?
We saw many Dunmanians at Bugis Junction!
First we saw Zinc's EDS seniors, Sumei and Vanessa at Yoshinoya. and Iris(sec3) was with them too.
Then we saw some 2H people near 77th Street.
Then we saw Sara! and Qianting! My seniors!!! :D
Then we saw Zinc's EDS peeps, Jervin and Priscilla and one other girl at the takopachi stall.
And we saw some Senior High people around the shops too.
LOL.

Just came back from STC :D
Warning: It's my STC storytime now so if you are not interested to hear my interesting stories I suggest you don't read any further. LOL

The sec3s were reshuffled for STC.
Sara joined us.
Zhen Ling and Pearlyn went to other patrols.

1st day:
Camp D.
Combined with P5! :D
Built kitchen dresser, kitchen shelter, dustbin and fire altar.
At least the sec1s cheered. YAY :D

Outdoor cooking.
Our fire altar was quite unstable so we did some adjustments to it before starting the fire.
So haha we were the last patrols to start.
But we were among the first to finish clearing up our food(:
The food was delicious!
Especially curry noodles.

PA.
Sec3s (aka Kimberley cos Sara went for SC) took charge.
We had to start fire. BUT.
We had to earn our items needed by answering questions in pairs.
Consequences for wrong answers follow.
LOL.
But very fun haha.
Since we completed it quickly we could play games with P8! :D

PT.
PT rocked my socks can!
Combined with P2! :D
in no particular order of stations.(cos I can't remember the order)
'Wheelbarrow + boys style pumping position'
We had to wheelbarrow to the other side and find a matching pair of cards with 1 try per pair.
P6 got 1 correct! :D
'Know your school better'
Ran around with sec1s carrying 1 hei mu, sec2s carrying ying sheng and sec3s carryin F.A kit and leading.
After running we ran back to the foyer to ding hei mu and zhan ma.
'Crabwalk + commando crawl'
Commando crawl first.
Both patrols crabwalk to the middle and play scissors paper stone.
You know that game right.
Don't need to elaborate. LOL
'Leg raise on pails(murderer game)'
Haha you know the 'squeeze hand' murderer game?
Yeah so basically the victim stops ding-ing the pail and ding boys style instead.

I love cheering man.
It seriously does boost our patrol morale.
And screaming helps to relieve your pain too :D

Clearing up.
Sec2s had to take charge.
Cleared all the Camp D stuff etc.
I'm really so sorry sec1s.
I seriously can't help getting anxious and start talking in bullet speed.
I'll try to chillax more next time(:

2nd day:
OJ.
Combined with P8! :D
Inverted minesweeper.
Slided our butts across.
Zi Shan and Kimberley fell down alot of times.
It was so scary cos their heads almost touched the ground. zomg.
First aid station.
Pei bei, F.A kit, 1 belt, 2 water bottles got kupped.
Zi Shan and Kimberley were casualties in a toxic room.
Zi Shan was a 'pregnant lady'.
And we were all stoning there don't know what to do with her.
But we just tried with our common sense. LOL.
Then carried Kimberley on a stretcher out of the room.
And Ruo Ling on the same strecther to the next station.
Electric fence + emergency shelter.
Pei bei got kupped again.
We build 8 emergency shelters. YAY! :D
Traditional games.
Had to build Roman chariot and fireman's ladder in 10 minutes each.
Of course we had to ask for 2-3mins time extension.
So sorry again sec1s.
Especially Chun Yen who was helping me with the knots.
Cos the position of the mu was abit difficult for us to rao, so I need her to push the ma sheng wherever I rao-ed.
I kept asking her to 'kuai dian, hurry up' and she was like 'sorry' in a very apologetic way.
Then I said 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry'.
Then a few mintues later the whole cycle repeated itself.
I'm too harsh on her lah.
SORRY CHUN YEN(:
Our fireman's ladder was impossible to cross cos the highest mu was too high.
I thought our lashes would suck and all the mu would be able to move.
But our lashes turned out not that bad(:
I was crossing my fingers when the sec4s tried turning the mu.
For fireman's ladder only the top mu could move.
And for Roman chariot only the top mu could move.
Jiayous jiayous.
Improvement comes a step at a time(:

I was so uber happy when I heard the news.
Cos I thought we wouldn't get the top3, let alone 1st, looking at how many things that got kupped from us.

And for the whole song there are 5 sets.
Which equals to 35 times of bending.
Then add the end you'll feel a stretch in your thigh muscles.
Maybe I should do that everyday then my zhanma can improve :D

Came back from level camp!!

That was the mostmostmost memorable one.
A performance item put up by every mirror group.
Group 1 with group 2, group 3 with group 4 etc.
All of them were so cool can!!!!
Including ours of course(:
We did a "Mask Selamat" skit and a commercial dance and then our cheer!!!!

Another memorable event was the kidnapping one at night.
zomg.
I was 'kidnapped', tied to a chair and blindfolded.
My group members had to complete tasks to get the correct key to unlock the metal chain and free me.
And after doing so they still had to carry me(still tied to the chair) around the bball court and cheer.
I'm so heavy D:
Muscle mass wth.
I'll never want to be a casualty for any guides activities if not my patrolmates will die carrying me.
I'd rather be the one carrying than casualty-ing in this case :D
Even the guys who carried me on the chair had backaches.
But that was really memorable.

PLTC 08's over.
Last night.
LOL.
What does this mean?
The next PLTC is for us, sec2s.
PLTC 09.
zomg.
1 year's not as long as it seems.

Being duty guide was fun although tiring.
'Sai Kang Warriors' as called by Siyuan.
Slept at like 10 yesterday.
Our jobs were mainly to prepare food and drinks during mealtimes, top up the sec3s' water supply during Camp D and help clear up after mealtimes.
But we had other jobs too[:

During night activities we stayed inside the tuanbu and shou masheng.

Sentry duty:
1 guide and 1 scout for every shift of 20 minutes.
Starting from 12.20am.
My shift was at 1am with Qin Gang.
Ex 6/1 classmate.
So not so stoney and awkward.
LOL.
The other sec2 duty guides(Michelle, Crystabelle, Xin Tian, Swee Yee) told me theirs was like totally stoney and quiet and awkward.

Early morning OJ:
Duty guides were woken at 2+ to go to Yao Lu's station on starting a fire to burn baisheng.
4 of us stood behind the 4 pits for the 4 patrols.
The patrol I stood behind was P3 Ozone.
They left their pei bei in the tents so someone had to go back and take it while the rest looked for other items to help start the fire.
It was quite 心急 to see them not able to get the fire started when p2 and p4 already left.
but soon they managed to.
So did p1.
phew.

After that we went to the canteen to look for Selina.
Then we went to sleep at about 4+ and woke up at 5.30 to prepare breakfast.

Morning OJ:
Xin Tian and I were casualties.
I was a casualty for head bleeding.
I was practically stoning at the part of the grandstand near the PE Dept during the intervals of the patrols coming.
I saw the SJAB sec1-4s people playing next to the field while the NPCC sec2s were slugging it out on the field learning how to pitch tents, and the Guides+Scouts sec3s were completing one of their OJ stations - Shengqiao at the tree in front of the track.
That's what you call juxtapositioning in one scene.

The sec3s were quite caring in 'treating' me.
They were trying to make it fast and tight.
But it's rather 心痛 to hear your (younger)seniors, getting scolded by your (older)seniors D:

By 11.15am I had to go down to prepare food with the other duty guides.
So some duty scout called Mervin(?) replaced me.

After we prepared lunch all 5 of us fell asleep on the canteen tables until about 2+ when we were woken up to change to Guides U for flag lowering.
Then it was photo-taking.

Prepared dinner at 6+.
We tried our best to make the dinner layout look presentable.
LOL.
Standardised the apples to be on the right of the packet-ed food.
And bananas to be on top.
And 2 extra bananas to be put tip-to-tip on the labels.
:D

Time really flies......
That's all I can say.

OMG it's like so fast.
Haha I sound as if I'm one of the trainees going through this camp too.
LOL that'll be next year.
Don't know why i'm also feeling anxious about tomorrow.
