And I don't.
They're working towards that goal, and I'm not, because I don't even know what I want.
Up until now, I have not made a decision yet.
I was asked once in January, and I said that I haven't decided.
It's already April and my answer is still the same.
I still don't know what I want.
I don't know how to decide.
I don't know when to start deciding.

So now here comes the hype about PLTC.
More than 5 guides counting down on their personal messages.
So I guess the take now is 5 patrols.
Including a few sec2 scouts.
This will be the last time as a trainee for a camp.
Yes, that's reality.
It is.
Much as I can't believe it.
It'll be the last time of chionging identities, cheers, packing of peibei and faks, and other camp stuff like mealbags and shorts ):

This 3D2N camp, 60+ hours spent in school, with your patrol, with your jie4.
Whether you get the best out of this camp, is not how your situation is.
It is not based on how many 'imba' people there are in your patrol. (though I don't really support the classification of imba vs not imba)
It is not based on how good you are individually, how much you know, how much you talk.
It is based on your heart and soul and mind.
Put the 3 of them into it, and you'll never go wrong.
You'll walk out of the camp feeling satisfied that you have put in your best for the camp.
Even if your patrol has been thrashed and owned hands down by the rest.
Even if your muscle cells have been producing too much lactic acid that it hurts so much.
Run for your team, not for the glory.
Run not to deliberately impress the audience, but to challenge yourself.

Even if you get into a so-called 'screwed' patrol, (again I don't really support calling your own patrol screwed)
It doesn't mean that PLTC will be 'screwed' for you.
Because it is all in the mind.
It is how you perceive it.
Things won't be that bad if you don't see it that way.

You can't change your situation.
But you can change the way you handle it.
Don't focus on the problem.
Focus on the solutions.
Don't focus on the question asking you to sketch a curve and get stuck there because you hate sketching curves.
Focus on how to find the turning points, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, etc.
And there, you can sketch your curve now.
Problem solved yay! :D
Move on.

Gosh everyone's getting so competitive.
Sec3s.
It's like all throughout the level.
People are trying to aim for leadership positions.
Especially those in UG and Performing Arts.
and they've changed alot ):
People backstabbing one another, curry favouring, etc.
I've been hearing alot of "you know ah, my CCA got this girl/boy always suck up", "all the sec3s in my CCA aiming for CCA chairperson", "the seniors like him/her but we all don't", etc, from people around me.
But I know this is just a phase everyone will go through.
After this it'll be okay.
Everything will be back to normal.

So we're broken down into 2 groups.
My group - Eileen, Jiamin, Rong Hui, Samantha, Tammy

Today I heard something really shocking.
Some things.
not one thing.
I just kept on going "omg really?", "serious?", "you sure?" and etc cos I couldn't believe it okay.
I expected that something would happen, but I didn't expect it to be like that.
I didn't expect a twist to the story.
It's just really saddening.
My heart bleeds for her.
I feel really bad.

Anyway today I totally understood what it means to be a support to a leader.
Understood what it means to have support.

I woke up this morning realising that I had lost my voice.

I had to keep speaking in a loud whispery tone.
And use super big actions and strong facial expressions to express what I can't say in words.

today was a boring day.
Was supposed to go for rock climbing enrichment for Guides, but I felt so sick the moment I woke up in the early morning.
My whole head was so painful, it was like my nerves were hurting.
Felt kinda giddy.
And my throat was quite painful too.
So I smsed xintian that I wasn't gonna go.
And went to rest.
By the time I woke up, it was already 1pm O.o
I felt a little better, so I went to cook spaghetti for lunch.
Then did portfolio stuff.
Now I feel much better yay!

I don't know if you consider that good or bad lol.
For some it might be really bad.

COJ is over.
The next step, the next big leap is PLTC.
Can't believe I'm actually saying this.
It's just so quick.
After curtain call last sat, Wendy came up to me and said, "You're in sec3 now?"
I said, "Yup, PLTC in 45 days. Scared."
And she said something that I really have to agree with, "Seems like yesterday when you were in sec1, and now you are going for PLTC..."
Why does time fly so fast?
40 days to PLTC.
Which means 80+ days to passing down )))))))):
The day everyone dreads.
The day when everyone will spam picture-taking to grab as many pics possible of their pretty sec4s.
The day when the whole patrol will sit in a circle under the stars and the sec4s will just give everyone their final words before they leave.
And then just talk and talk and reminisce, not wanting to go to sleep.
Because we all know that when we wake up, passing down is officially over ):

Haha today went to watch Hotel For Dogs at Vivo with 41st batch!
It was a very very touching movie kay!
I almost cried.
Jiamin cried lol.
Anyway the dogs called Romeo and Juliet remind me of _______ and _______.
The male is like so much smaller than the female can.
The female is not fat, it's just that the male is super skinny O.o
But anyway that's not the main focus lol.
They are not really the main characters, but they look really funny together :D
And their puppies turned out really cute.

Oh and then at the start of the show there was this guy who looked kind of evil.
I didn't really had a good impression of him at first.
Then suddenly he told the girl, "My name is Mark."
Then I burst out laughing!

But anyway he turned out to be a good guy.

but nonetheless, she doesn't try to peek at my marks or anything.
It's like the best kind of partner I can ever get(:

If you put two things which are different to a small extent together, compared to putting two things which are unlimited-ly different together, which do you thing will give you a more obvious contrast?

why?

Not that I enjoy going through all off the above, but I really don't mind going through COJ week all over again.
Maybe the very very last time we can feel the 'essence' of COJ week is on Monday when we claim back our xiaoduixiang stuff from peibei/FA kit and remove the "P1" labels.
Or we could also leave some labels for memories lol(:

COJ has ended.
It was so so fast.
I remembered at the start of the year we were like saying COJ was in March.
Then we were saying Chinese New Year not even over yet, long way more.
And now, it's over.
Even though P1 got last, I really wanna thank all of you for being......P1. haha.

Here's a rough timeline of Friday's COJ:
Mass change
Given 2 mins to change into OJ kit and everything was in a huge huge mess.
Couldn't find my scarf at first and was panicking like mad O.o

First station: Gas room
Michelle was PL.
It was a first aid station.
Wei Chia and a sec4 were the casualties.
We had to transport casualties out of the 4S classroom, and we found bonus stuff lol.
Then one of the scouts had to pump 100 to get back the FA kit that got kupped.
Then all of us went omg.
And then we tied a stretcher to carry Wei Chia down to the next station.

Second station: Rope climbing
Samantha was PL.
At first we all had to be at ground level, but after a few minutes, the station master allowed 2 people to go to the second level.
We had to use the fireman's chair knot to do this.
In the end none of us managed to go up the rope.
And our 3 mu got kupped.

*transition phase*
Used Guides code to decode a message and do as stated before moving on to the next station.

Third station: Acid river
Jiamin was PL.
We tied tripod but didn't manage to get everyone across.
And one of our peibei got kupped.
And another one almost got kupped.

Fourth station: Shengqiao
I was PL.
And when I found out it was a shengqiao station my heart went "Shit, I don't know if I can climb a shengqiao properly."
We tied clove hitch around two trees and twisted a mu at the start of the yingsheng to make it more taut.
I crossed the shengqiao first.
In the end about 7 or 8 people crossed the shengqiao.
Then we ran to the 3rd storey and down again.
And alot of our stuff got kupped.

Fifth station: Minesweeper
Wei Chia was PL.
Li Yee and Mervyn were casualties and we had to go across the minesweeper while transporting them across.
Samantha and I treated Li Yee(unconscious) while Geoffrey treated Mervyn(right collarbone fracture).

Now I shall dedicate a short individual message to P1 lol.
I feel so *shy*.

We might be in different patrols but we're still in this together yeah(: Remember our sec1 days when we first stepped into Guides? We'd never thought our paths would cross here at this point lol. Time really flies): pltc in 2 months. Let's cheer one another on to boost our morale ya. Treasure our 1 and 1/4 years left in Guides(:

P1 Scouts: All that mutual bueysong-ing and kb-ing outside your tuanbu while packing stuff seem so LOL when you look back on them. Thanks for helping us take stuff but don't so 逞强 luh lol. This might well be the last time we're working together, unless we tio the same patrol for pltc, then too bad for you lor :D anyway jiayous for pltc and etc!

P1 course leaders: Thank you for all the guidance and encouragement and for seeing potential in us even though we disappointed you all. And thanks for taking time to come down to see our coj prep progress. We'll take note of what you have said and move on and learn from our mistakes.

I also want to add on to thank my patrol sec4s, Zhen Ling and Pearlyn, for their support and encouragement throughout the whole coj week. And for being a listening ear to the problems I was facing. Thank you so much! Both of you have shown me how an ideal senior in my opinion is. I hope to really treasure my time with you all. Only left with 4 months):

This coj would not have been possible without the sec4s, so we wanna thank the sec4s for organising this coj despite being so busy with tests and projects(: I believe the sec3s have learnt alot from this coj and gained more exp through this. LOL.

I just looked at my hp contacts and realised that the (P1) in front of everyone's name(in P1) is invalid since coj is over.
LOL cos to make it easier for mass sms, I put (P1) in front so when I type "P1", all the names will come out.
So now even though the (P1) seems kind of invalid, we'll still be P1 in our memories :D

Had inspection in the morning today.
Then after inspection I went to the tuanbu and guess what I did the most stupidest thing ever.
I opened my purse to take out my xiaoduixiang key, opened the xiaoduixiang, put my purse on the shelf while I searched for something.
Then after that I just closed the xdx and walked off, not knowing that my purse was inside O.o
Then when I realised, it was too late, the tuanbu had been locked.
So I waited until after school, then went to the tuanbu.
And all the while I had been thinking that my purse was OUTSIDE my xdx.
And I panicked when I couldn't find it anywhere near.
And Michelle said it could well be inside my xdx.

Hmm so we more or less finished our identity today!

I think the identity is really pretty.
I mean that's in my opinion luh.
I've learnt not to be a perfectionist.
Cos we are all humans, we all make mistakes, we ain't perfect yeah.

Quite happy today cos we managed to finish packing peibei and FA kit plus finish identity.
I love our chinese name and english name!

FTW stands for 'For The Win', and realise what happens when you turn it around O.o
We all were abit slow luh lol.
So 获胜 cos it's For The Win, then 号 is cos the opposite of our name is an exclamation, 感叹号, so it's 获胜号! :D

Week 9 is spammed with tests.
Let's take a look at the menu this week.

Tuesday: HCL chengyu + cloze passage CT
Wednesday: Bio CT
Thursday: HCL Compre CT, Chem VIVA after school
Friday: Physics CT and COJ.

And next week is file check week.
Hmm you can say that I like file checks luh.
It helps to pull up my sucky marks ;D
I hope.

Think it's better to be what I am now, less results-oriented, as compared to my younger days (not like I'm very old or what but yeah O.o)
