Next Thursday will be Thinking Day, some sort of a Founder's Day for Girl Guides and Scouts. Just this Wednesday, we rehearsed the foot drill for Thinking Day. The Year 1s did not know the foot drill, so our seniors had to teach us the commands and actions.
We stumbled at first, so we had to hold our left foot 90 degrees in the air and balance on our right foot for a minute. We have to line up neatly in three straight rows on the day itself, and I am in the first row. We are also advised to wear white shoes instead of sports shoes. (Know the meaning of the centre of attraction? Haha)
During the speech on Thinking day, we are not allowed to move around, and have to stand at attention. Well, this is really something new to me, which I have not done before. I'm a little nervous that I may forget the steps, as we had only Wednesday to practise. I hope everything turns out well. (*Keeping fingers crossed*)
