Talk about the ups and downs of a vice-chairperson...Today, just before recess, I had already reminded those on duty to stay back to clean up the classroom. (I gave clear instructions) So, I went to the toilet. But when I returned, only the girls were sweeping the floor and arranging the desks and chairs! Calvin and En Zhi were supposed to clean up the classroom, but goodness knows where they had gone...(And they thought it was after school) They were standing right in front of me when I made the announcement, and they heard it wrongly? Well, actually it's fine with me, because if they don't do it, then I shall clean up the classroom. (Sweeping the floor is quite fun, actually) But I feel we should play our part to keep the classroom as clean as possible so that it would be a conducive study environment for us. And what will the teachers say when they see our dirty classroom? (Who would want to study or teach in a messy classroom?) Anyway, during recess(yes, again), Zong Long took something away from Jacob and of course, he started running to try to catch him. They ran out of the classroom and onto the corridor!!! (Other classes were having lessons!!!) So, I made them return to the classroom. (I hope the students were not distracted from their work...) Anyway, I get to learn things through experiences like these. I have learnt to be more firm and strict in some situations, sort of like authoritative. (Haha)
