I JUST LOVE THE POETRY SLAM LESSONS DURING LA!!!!
Here are some which I wrote during(the teacher gave us time) and after the lessons.
Our group performed this one (This sounds super emo, but hey, we gotta explore different kinds of wrting right? xDD)
Black is a thrill, a license to kill,
Of funk and of punk.
A gothic mural lurks,
Society, it irks.
Black is the colour of gangsterism,
Much too frustrated with favouritism.
Black is hip-hop,
Gangsta rap,
The beats, tip-tap tip-tap.
Of guns and violence,
Hatred and silence.
Black strikes an ignorant soul,
A fearsome phantom,
A fearless ghoul.
Black is heavy metal rock,
Smashing guitars,
Angry youngsters.
Black is ME,
The mysterious killer,
My heart of winter.
Anyone who reads this shall be stabbed by me,
After midnight, at twelve-oh-three.
Chk! The blade goes in.
You find yourself fainting,
You see yourself dying.
The most recent one I wrote:
Let me get this straight,
No second shall we wait.
You can gladly let the whole world know,
Or you may choose to keep it low.
The number of differences between the both of us,
Can never be completed with a thousand verses.
You say,"I love cats!"
But no, I don't.
I say, "I want to play!"
But no, you won't.
You think of me as a childish freak,
A brainless retard, a stuck up chic.
I know that's what you're thinking,
I know it's me you're hating.
How could I have been so kind?
How could I have been so blind?
You've turned me into a source of grief.
Why was I so naive?
From now on there's no more us,
From now on there's no more we.
From now on it'll be only you,
From now on it'll be only me.
"I'm sorry, ~my name~, please forgive me.
It's true that your childish, why are you angry?
Fine, whatever, you're not a freak,
So pretty please let me join your clique."
"No, no, just stop your bugging,
I've had enough of your so called bullying.
I've found the right friends, so find your now,
I know you know, so don't ask me how.
