Heyhey hello!! :D
Saturday!Went to Youth service for the very first time at Y'Hope in Somerset.
Met Fiona at Somerset station before that.
She left her handphone at Jessica's house. zomg.
I could never live without a phone for one day mann.
Y'Hope people are verrryyyyy nice and hospitable.
They really make you feel welcome into their family.
I made so mannnyy new friends!(:
Ok here's the service:
First it was prayer session, but since I wasn't familar with speaking in tongues, I didn't go in.
Fiona, Jessica and Dawn accompanied me(:
After that it was worship time!
The live band was really rocking and everyone was so high and all with singing upbeat Christian songs.
We were all jumping and lifting our hands up.
Then it came to the slower songs where everyone either clasped their hands together or lifted up their arms.
Ok after that it was the Holy Communion.
Then it was 40 minutes of bible-study which was very interesting and inspiring.
The difference between pastors in all adult churches and youth service was that in all-adult churches, things the pastor has said may not be applicable to teenager's life, but in youth service, we can actually apply all of the things the pastor has said.
Come on, it's a YOUTH service mannn!! :D
Fiona told me that taking down notes would help me remember the pastor's words better.
I'm gonna do that the next service :D
We had our final prayer session where I could really feel the Holy Spirit around me.
I had never been felt this close to the Lord for a long time.
And I almost cried when we were praying.
I felt like a lost child being reunited with her Father once again.
Oh oh oh and other than me, there are 15+ new additions to the church!
And my dear Zinc's one of them!!!! :D
My caregroup people are verrryyy nice too! :D
It's the warm feeling you get in a Christian fellowship(:
I hope I'm able to go for at least 2 days of their church camp next week.
Praise the Lord that Wendy encouraged me to go there.
If not I'd still be a weak Christian.
From now on, I'll make sure I have 'quiet time' every night before I go to bed.
Read 1 page of the daily bread.
And to be a strong and faithful Christian who obeys God's word(:
Sunday!Passion Run!! :D
My 1st 5km run evvverrrrr!
Well...I ran 5km!!! woots!! I couldn't believe that I could do it.
Cos my max so far was only about 3.5km.
Yin Zheng took part too.
And he could run for 2km!!
From 800m only at the start of the year to 2km!
Good job mann.
My mum, uncles, and aunty Karen took part in the 10km one.
It's a family outing!
LOL.
From only being able to run 800m last year to 5km now.
I have ALOT of people to thank for my achievement for running 5km straight in around 32 mins! (Eh but that doesnt mean my 2.4 is 16 minutes hor! LOL)
Swweeeet success! :D
God.I know it seems crazy, but I was putting myself in a situation.
'I had to go to a cannibal tribe and spread the gospel to them, and I was only given 40 minutes to run 5km to the tribe.'
I was praying along the way.
It worked okay! :D
My Mum.She's a verrryyyy sportyyy woman!!
She constantly takes part in runs and it was her who introduced me to running!
From only being able to run 800m last year to 10km this year, she's pro mann!!!!
I was telling myself while running that if my mum could do it, so could her daughter!
And I did it, Yeah! :D
Guides.Guides improved my stamina too! :D
And the pia spirit has somehow been inculcated in me(:
That's why I persevered on mann :D
All the motivational cheerleaders. Those message boards did help alot!
'Do better than you think'
'Feel like giving up? It's just a mile more.'
And etc...
And thanks for your cheering too!! :D
Everyone running.Haha you inspired me to continue running and not stop.
Cos we were all running togetherrr!!
Yeahh! :D
The next run for me will be the Great Eastern all-women's run in October.
Unglam pictures of me today will be put up in the next post(:
Bye for now(:
