Today was really a happening day.
It was the day when I had to step out of my comfort zone(s).
In chronological order:First lesson was maths.
Then our teacher wanted someone to go up to the whiteboard to write his/her answer for a question.
Nobody volunteered.
The whole class stoned for about a minute or so.
Then she was getting a bit pissed.
Usually if nobody volunteered, I wouldn't either lol.
I have
never ever ever volunteered to do a maths question on the board.
I don't know why today something jsut pushed me to go up and do it.
I was really scared okay.
Like I said, I have never volunteered to do any maths question.
Unless teacher called me up but that's not counted.
Great.
I've done something for the first time.
After recess was PC lesson.
But since the notes weren't ready yet, we did some class admin stuff.
Then our form teacher suddenly said she wanted to change places.
And as you know I
used to be sitting in a very comfy area with people I know all around me.
My classmates, cca mates, jap class mates and etc.
Then he lao shi moved me all the way to the front to sit next to a PRC called Zi Jun.
She is really really friendly(:
But yeah it's another step out of another comfort zone cos now I have no choice but to use chinese to converse with her during lessons.
And I have
never ever ever spoken a single sentence of chinese during lessons.
Even chinese lessons.
Unless I'm being told by the teacher to share my answer with the class.
Okay so now I'm gonna start trying to adapt.
After PC was HCL.
We had this game that was similar to charates.
A chengyu or ciyu would be flashed on the screen, and 1
lucky unlucky chosen person would either have to act it out if it was act-able, if not just explain it.
And so he lao shi called the first group of people to stand up and play it one by one, then you can sit down.
The people with short hair and without specs.
Then the second batch of people.
The people with collar pins -.-
And as you know I have that guides trefoil pinned on my left collar.
It beautifies the uniform okayy.
But today it got me in trouble.
I have
never ever ever done weird actions or played charates in front of my class before.
I mean a class which I'm new too.
So today it's my first time playing charates.
3 comfort zones ahh.
Anyway you know for UG campfire?
All UG people in 2K '08 are songleaders.
If Zong Long is inside too then whoohoo we have 2K UG reunion.
LOL sorry I'm being lame again :D
shall be a good studious girl and go do jap e-learning :D
